Episode 1: Stone Brewing in Escondido, CA

Travel down Interstate 5 from Los Angeles, just north of San Diego and you’ll find the town of Escondido, the home of Stone Brewing, famously known for their gargoyle mascot. We’ll meet CEO Greg Koch, Head Brewer Mitch Steele and the Bistro’s beer fanatic, Dr. Bill. We’ll take a tour of the brewery and learn about the beers that have made Stone famous, like the Arrogant Bastard, and we’ll get a sneak peek at the 14th Anniversary Ale!

Then we’ll take a tour of the gardens and visit with chef Alex Carballo at the Stone Brew World Bistro & Gardens to discuss and sample the dishes he prepares to match Stone beers and how he prepares food with beer.
